Enoch kavindele

NorthWest Rail (NWR) is the brainchild and vision of Enoch Kavindele, one of Zambia’s most well-known businessmen and a former politician. 

He began his business career in the 1970s by founding Woodgate Holdings Ltd, a company with a vast portfolio of services including agriculture, tourism, mining and transportation with operations spanning from Zambia to the United Kingdom.

Enoch Kavindele served in various positions within the Zambian government from 1986 to 2006, these included Minister of Health; Minister of Science, Technology and Vocational Training; Minister of Commerce Trade and Industry and latterly Vice-President of the Republic of Zambia.
